MKDS retail
If your flashcart is having contact issues, it may be fixable by attaching a piece of paper to the cart, so it is bulkier and the contacts are pressed into place. Also, I can send you a patch to turn the kiosk ROM into a retail ROM if you tell me what the MD5 of your kiosk ROM is. --Hiccup (talk) 02:46, 17 January 2018 (EST)
"Nintendo Ultra 64 Prototype Console"
Could you provide pictures of this console? --Hiccup (talk) 06:55, 6 April 2019 (EDT)
- Sure! This picture is low quality, but it's from 2017. http://imgur.com/a/vWJo5CN The motherboard is the first revision, NUS-CPU-01. If you have any other questions, please let me know. I'm not home at the moment so I have to give you pictures I already have. --MisterSheep (talk) 09:47, 6 April 2019 (EDT)
- Does it differ from an initial retail console in anyway, other than the sticker? --Hiccup (talk) 12:19, 6 April 2019 (EDT)
- Well, it came with the plastic region locking piece removed, so that might have been part of testing it, or the previous owner could have done that. However, there's not any major differences at first glance, but there might be some under-the-hood changes. Because this is called the Ultra 64 and that name was only to be used in the US market, and it's a Japanese console, this was probably given to devs to prepare for the launch of the US N64. --MisterSheep (talk) 12:30, 6 April 2019 (EDT)
- Could you try plugging it in and playing a game on it? Maybe opening it up and taking some photos of the inside? Also, where did you get it from? --Hiccup (talk) 12:46, 6 April 2019 (EDT)
- I've played US and JP games on it and both work fine. I'll open it up once I get back from vacation tomorrow. Also, do you have discord? I have slow internet right now so if you do, it would be easier if we talk there instead. --MisterSheep (talk) 13:00, 6 April 2019 (EDT)

Development Namespace
Prototypes are meant for (playable) versions which are available, but Development is more for assets found in source code or otherwise not seen in a prototype. --From: CounterDiving (talk) 01:54, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
