Virtual Lab is considered to be the worst Virtual Boy game, or at least the worst among those that were licensed and released (though you'd be forgiven for thinking it wasn't licensed given that the box and cart label misspell Nintendo's name). Much of this is owed to the fact that the game was programmed entirely by just one person, Megumi Ayase, who was only given a month to put it together from scratch (and since the equipment finally showed up a mere week before the deadline, only a few days at best).

The game is also crazy rare and expensive, with copies selling for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. It's really not worth it unless you're a die-hard collector.
