This article has just been started and needs the article basics added. Help us out and add them. |
Wings of Glory plays a bit like several other mid-90's Origin Systems flight sims, but it's set in World War I and it does a good job at it.
Debug Mode Text
To do: There's gotta be a debug mode in this thing. Is it activated like in the Wing Commander games? |
At BA4A3 in GLORY.EXE, there's some text for a debug mode.
JetPlane dynamics: DEBUG MODE vx:%s vy:%s vz:%s lvx:%s lvy:%s lvz:%s pit: %s rol: %s avx:%s avy:%s avz:%s saax:%s saay:%s saaz:%s dp: %s oc: %s mass: %ld fuel: %ld aoa: %s aos: %s aird: %s bdx: %s bdy: %s bdz: %s.wdx: %s wdy: %s wdz: %s.accx: %s accy: %s accz: %s iaoa: %s waoa: %s eqaoa: %s eqaos: %s.g load: %s
Art D's Third Batch Adventure
If you look at the files on the install CD, you will find a file called TABDRIH.TDA. Make a new folder somewhere named ADTHIRD and copy that file to that folder. Rename the file to ADTHIRD.BAT. In pure DOS mode (or DOSBox running a DOS 6.22 boot disk), go to the ADTHIRD folder and type in ADTHIRD SETUP. A bunch of files will be put in the folder. Then type in ADTHIRD to play a hidden text adventure game called Art D's Third Batch Adventure.
