This is a sub-page of Yo-kai Watch 3/Yo-kai Watch 2 Leftovers.

Hmmm...
To do:
*Get IDs for the rooms.
  • Compare pre-v3.0.0 San Fantastico and Harrisville to final?

A large chunk of returning locations from Yo-kai Watch 2 didn't quite make it to the game, despite a few of them being cleared for the newer places. A lot of them are fully-functional while some of them have their functionality or maps completely removed, resulting in it being heavily incomplete. Note that Harrisville and San Fantastico could be found unused prior to the Japanese V.3.0. update, before being added in later on.

Almost all of the locations lack wild Yo-kai, Yo-kai Spots, NPCs and Baffle Boards.

Memory Store

The place where you retrieve the Yo-kai Watch in the Yo-kai Watch 2 storyline is still in the game data, exiting the map will take you to where it used to be in that game.

The Past

Old Springdale (Room ID: t201g00)

Everything is the same, except for the lack of NPCs or Baffle Boards. Oddly, five Ded-Cloud machines are still present with their animations overlapping. The train to Old Harrisville cannot be used, and going in and out of the Shoten Temple will warp you back to Mt. Wildwood in the present.

Old Springdale Alley

Everything is the exact same except that there aren't any shadows and the area lacks a name at the bottom screen.

Galleria Boulevard

Hmmm...
To do:
Does the minimap for it exist?

Accessible from Old Springdale. Though the name for the location exists, the minimap appears to be glitched.

Shopper's Row Alley

Exactly the same.

Old Watch Shop

Accessible from Old Springdale. Mr. Goodsight is not present inside.

Old Springdale Ironworks

Accessible from Old Springdale.

Sunset Manufacturing Co.

You can go to this map through the usual entrance at Old Springdale, all doors are fully functional and all the background objects are animated.

Old Mount Wildwood (Room ID: t202g00)

Same as Old Springdale, but the Crank-a-kai cannot be interacted with.

Gourd Pond (Room ID: t206g00)

One of the Ded-Cloud machines are present here too.

Flatpot Plains

Hmmm...
To do:
Is this in Yo-kai Watch 2?

The only incomplete area in the Past, resemblilng a rough draft of the map. The only part where textures exist is on the bottom. Judging from the minor incompleteness, the area further signifies that it was probably scrapped early in development.

Old Harrisville (Room ID: t231g00)

Same as Old Springdale. No NPCs nor Miradox. The Ninja Forest, Old House and Mt. Middleton are all accessible.

Old Harrisville Alley (Room ID: t231d01)

Ninja Forest (Room ID: t231i01)

Old House

Old Mt. Middleton

The first area works fine, but the 2nd and 3rd areas have mis-mapped collision.

Infinite Tunnel

Yet another incomplete area, despite it being used for one of the Baffle Board events. The only remaining things in the tunnel are a power box, a door and the exit. Going far enough will teleport the player to the Other Side. The door isn't functional.

Teastroyer Deserted House

A leftover area from Psychic Specters where you fight Teastroyer. When going outside, you will be warped to behind the fence in front of the pond.

Hexpress

Gera Gera Train

Three rooms from the Gera Gera Train are left in files, including the boss fight room.

Happy-Go-Lucky Express

Same as the Gera Gera Train, two Rooms from the Happy-Go-Lucky Express are left in files.

Gera Gera Abyss Resort

All the Psychic Specters post-game locations are in files!

Gera Gera Abyss Resort Entrances and Stations

The three entrances to Paradise Springs, GeraGera Land, and Wolfit Down and their respective stations are in the game files, with the exception of trains appearing at stations and NPCs.

Paradise Springs (t001d05)

Textures, collisions and interactions work fine, but with no NPCs inside.

GeraGera Land (t001d06)

Everything in this map functions as normal with the exception of the rollercoaster and the Pallysol platforms. There's also no NPCs present.

Wolfit Down (t001d07)

Then again just like the previous two maps, everything works fine, but with no NPCs or Onis.

Kaibuki Theater (t001d08/t001d09)

Both the Main Theater and the Basement are present in the files, but the theater curtains have no collision and the NPCs are not present.
