Zero Time Dilemma (Windows, PlayStation Vita)/Unused Audio
This is a sub-page of Zero Time Dilemma (Windows, PlayStation Vita).
To do: Repeat with the JP tracks |
A lot of sounds are made during the game, mostly to show discomfort. While these tracks don't contribute much to the overall plot, there are some interesting nuggets in here (namely Delta's presence). If you're interested in hearing more plot-relevant audio, have a look at the unused dialogue article.
Contents
Delta's Laugh
When Q-team is executed, a voice clip of Delta laughing has been left unused, likely to hide Delta's existence better.

Akane's Shock
During Pop Off, Q-team is shown footage of the happenings of C-team. It seems that audio was originally part of the TV experience, but Akane's shock at being killed was never expressed audibly.

Mixed Tracks
Within the game are numerous clips where people are screaming (and laughing) at the same time. The game plays the track with all character sounds mixed into one, and individual tracks are given message IDs even though they're never played. The following tables will show the original mix track for reference, then the individual unused tracks.
As a note, there is always one individual track missing. For example, if Carlos and Junpei are screaming, the mixed track will have both of them, but only Junpei has an individual track. The other speaker can be extracted by subtracting the individual from the mix.
Radical-6
When Eric has a flashback to his family, they're all happy and laughing. This is the only time you'll hear anyone laughing in unison, keeping in line with the mood of the game.

Outbreak
D-team decides that setting up the bomb isn't a good idea, but Zero doesn't make it easy to fix their mistake. They have a coughing fit once hydrofloric acid starts raining in the decontamination room.

Alright, so wood failed, but apparently flesh does the trick? You figure out how Carlos and Junpei were able to protect Akane from the bullets.
