One day, our protagonist, the average magical girl in town, gets sent a mysterious letter of challenge on her way heading home from school. She then proceeds to repeatedly investigate why she is challenged, revealing that it's for a rather silly reason.

An unused variable named gui.about
in options.rpy contains a short description of the game. From the variable's name, it seems like the text was going to appear in the About screen (which ended up containing much less information in the final game).
Unused "end3a" Flag
There are dialogues that are only shown when a flag named persistent.end3a
is set to true. However, the flag is never set anywhere, except when the game resets its progress if you press Start after finishing the game, rendering the dialogues unused. Based on the name of the flag, it likely was going to be activated if the player never "does nothing" in the battle segment even after the game's reaction to that is activated (i.e. when persistent.end3
is true.)

These are likely just leftovers from npckc's other games.
Oddities
Length of "good end jingle" (end.ogg)
For some reason, the good ending screen jingle is internally longer than how it really is - it's ~35 seconds long, but the actually audible part is only ~3 seconds long, and the OST version is ~6 seconds long.
Debug Logging

This message is printed by news.rpy during the game's startup when "news" data gets downloaded. It's normally not seen by players.
Font Leftovers
Located at tl/ja, readme.txt seems to be the README of SetoFontSP v6.20's ZIP release. The folder also contains an unused duplicate of tl/en/npckc.ttf.
