For long, previous Mini 4WD based video games were more or less similar to Grand Prix Manager where you set up your racer and watch it, hoping your car will win the race (just like actual Mini 4WD racing). Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!! Eternal Wings, based on one of the popular Mini 4WD tie-in anime, allows the player to have full control of their favorite Mini 4WD, as if they were playing Gran Turismo instead.

This also happens to be the only Mini 4WD video game that the overseas kids can play. Go figure. It also has a battery meter that works like fuel meter in most racing simulations.

Borzoi and Jun Sagami

Borzoi, the final boss of the Scenario Mode, and Jun Sagami, the "test driver" for the track editor, can be used in the Free Battle (single race) mode by setting 89DFF to 0019 (Borzoi) or 57D2 (Jun). Both characters work as they do in their intended modes - Borzoi has a voice for the activation of the battery-draining super move, while Jun doesn't.
