Episode 1
Unused Inmater Texture
A slightly different texture for the Inmater can be found. The most noticeable difference is that its drill is completely clean.
The unused texture does not have any textures for the pipes on the sides of the drill arm, suggesting they were not on the model when the skin was created.

Early Deathsphere Texture
An unused texture for the Deathsphere can be found right next to the used texture in the “skins” folder. This texture keeps the same basic shapes the final one uses, but is much cleaner and lighter than the used one. The front light is missing in the unused texture.

Unused Cambot Model and Textures
Inside the game is an unused variant of the Cambot's model called "zm_cambot". This model uses a set of six separate textures instead of having all of them on one sheet. The camera is much smaller on zm_cambot, the part the camera is mounted on is not as long, and the lower back is completely different.
The actual textures look quite different. Instead of being blue, zm_cambot is green and has completely different details on it. The actual camera is a dark blue instead of a light blue.

Cryotech
The Cryotech's texture sheet has a face on it which can never be seen in-game.
Episode 2
Unused Spider Textures
The Spider and small Spider use a single texture sheet. However, there are unused texture files that show each body part instead of putting all of them in one sheet. The individual pieces are slightly higher-res than the ones used.
A duplicate of the torso and body textures exist under the names "torso.skn" and "body.skn", respectively.
Unused Harpy Skin
"m_harpy_p" contains a slightly different texture for the Harpy. The right side of m_harpy_p's back texture is slightly cut off compared to the used one and a few pixels on the part of her left leg near her crotch are missing.

Unused Cerberus Skin
An unused skin for Cerberus is in the game, most likely because of a misspelling, as the used skin is called “Cerberus”, while the unused one is called “Cerebus”.
The texture is completely different than the used texture. It has a lot more muscles than the final one, no fur, and has a different shape where the lower paw should be. Most of the UV map's shape appears to be the same between the two.

Cyclops Texture Sheet
The textures used for the scrapped Cyclops enemy's model are stored in four different textures. However. there is a single texture sheet for the Cyclops which goes unused.

Unused Doombat Skins
There are two unused Doombat skins in the game files. These are a higher-res version of the Doombat's front and back.

King Gharroth
King Gharroth's model uses a single texture sheet. However, there are unused textures that each contain a bit of Gharroth's skin. These bits are higher resolution than the bits used on the sheet his model uses.
Unused Lycanthir Skin
An unused Lycanthir texture exists. The creature’s fur is much lighter than the final's, the shirt is blue, and several bits of the Lycanthir, such as the mouth, are on different parts of the sheet.

Broken Up Version of Unused Lycanthir Skin
A broken up version of the unused Lycanthir skin can be found as well. The fur in these pieces are darker than on the sheet. This matches pre-release screenshots featuring this skin.

Earlier E4 Prisoners Skins
Different textures for Episode 4's Black and White Prisoners can be found.
Black Prisoner
The Black Prisoner has an orange shirt in the unused skin instead of a blue one and his arm is less muscular in the used skin.

White Prisoner
The White Prisoner has a torn orange shirt in the unused skin, but does not have one at all in the one used. The unused texture has tattoos on his chest, which the used texture lacks. Several bits of the White Prisoner's skin are in different locations in the unused skin.

Unused Female Gangster Model
An alternate model for the Female Gangster in Episode 4 is in the E4 model files. The unused model is much more scantily clad than the final's, but it retains the final's shape. Why they made a new model instead of reskinning an already-existing model is unknown.

Uzi Gangster
An earlier texture for the Uzi Gangster called "m_uzi_p" can be found. The unused texture has light tan pants, orange instead of blue on his outfit, a different arm texture, open eyes, and a strange mark on his forehead.

Rocket Launcher Gangster
Like his SMG-wielding counterpart, the Rocket Launcher Gangster has an unused texture. The old texture features a different design for the rocket launcher's side and has his face making an "o" face instead of an evil grin.
