Fire Pro Wrestling 2, despite its Japanese name, wasn't actually the final Fire Pro Wrestling game.

Regional Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
There's more: The US version has roster changes, added/removed modes (particularly the management mode), and made the MMA octagon inaccessible.

As is common in many games, "Push Start" is changed to "Press Start". The title screen also got a weird turquoise tint for the background. The man in the black suit is now visible thanks to the different logo style.

Gruesome Octagon

The Octagon arena is inaccesible in the US version, almost certainly due to legal issues with UFC. It is replaced with a regular ring with steel wires. You are also unable to exit the ring, and rope breaks do not occur. The data for the arena is still in the code, however, and can be re-enabled with a GameShark code.
