Characters
Dobby
Dobby was supposed to be part of the game, appearing at the end as shown in these files.
He can be seen in the PinkRoom, doing a facial animation.
His body is absent and does not exist in the game (although an identical model with the body can be seen in the cinematics of the PS1 version of the game).
Apart from the facial expressions, he has 2 animations: SV_DBY_TESTHEAD, which, according to the name, is a test animation, and SV_DBY_STAND.
Weasley Family's Ghoul
This dirty monster is the Weasley family's Ghoul!
It is the family's "pet" that is briefly mentioned in the book as living in a room under the attic, and howling when there was no noise.
He appeared in the PlayStation and Game Boy Color versions of the game (which is also his first physical appearance), in which Molly Weasley asks Harry, Ron, Fred, and George to quiet him down.
This was followed by a boring mini-game that consisted of putting pipes that the Ghoul throws into a chest.
In this game, Molly might have asked the player to get rid of the Ghoul. He has no animation, despite the T-pose, which indicates that he was scrapped early enough to be replaced by the gnomes to throw.
Troll
A troll is present in the game's files, especially in the test level. It appears to be in a very early state: it has no collision nor movement, just standing still and doing some idle animations, the textures are simple, and it has no AI. Its omission seems quite obvious, as there is no troll in The Chamber of Secrets. But according to the developers, the project was initially supposed to be a game for The Sorcerer's Stone, so it's normal that many leftovers from it are found.
It can be seen in this painting in the DADA Class room.
Pomona Sprout
Pomona Sprout is the Herbology teacher of Hogwarts; she has no animations or related sound files. She appears in the movie and the Windows and PlayStation versions of the game, but never appears in the sixth-gen console versions. She does appear in the sixth-gen console versions of The Sorcerer's Stone with exactly the same model.
Argus Filch and Mrs. Norris
Filch and his cat were supposed to be in the game, but unfortunately he is only mentioned and never physically appears, though he would do so one year later as a Prefect variant in the Library Annexe.
Mrs. Norris has some animations for walking, running, attacking, and for being hit by a spell, a Stink Pellet, and by Dungbombs respectively. However, since Filch has the same bones as all the teachers, he uses the same animations as them.
Filch can be seen in action in this video:
an much earlier version of Filch can be found on the xbox game, along with the unused Ollivender map.
The Old Hag
The Old Hag is an witch living in Knockturn Alley who occasionally eats children. She has some animation and a few lines, but she was probably forgotten after Knockturn Alley was removed from the game. This could have been her first physical appearance in the world of Harry Potter, but she would do so in the third game.
Vincent Crabbe
Crabbe is never seen in the game, for some reason. His model and his facial animation works very well and can easily be replaced by Goyle or any character that uses the male pupil animations (Ron, Draco, etc.)
Witches
The witches in Diagon Alley from the PlayStation 2 version are present in the files but absent in the game, as they were replaced by a different model.
She has some basic animations and a very different design from the witches seen in the final game.
Curiously, her model is the same that in the PS2 version, but the textures are made for a completly different one, this is why the texure seem mapped weirdly.
Also note that she uses her own animations, which is uncommon for this kind of character.
Wizard
This character would have been in Diagon Alley like in the PlayStation 2 version. It was replaced by a different model, but the old model can be seen in a pre-release video in Diagon Alley and the Leaky Cauldron.
He has a rather different design than those seen in the game and unlike his female counterpart, his textures work as they should.
He uses Professor Snape's animations, but he also has facial animations remaining from the PlayStation 2 version.
An early version of this model can also be found.
Dedalus Diggle
Dedalus Diggle appears in the PlayStation 2 version in the Leaky Cauldron, but was cut from here despite his model, animations, and voice lines being finished. He can be seen in a pre-release commercial.
Female Prefects
Female Prefects were supposed to appear among the male ones, but never do; they don't even have dialogue lines.
They also reuse student’s faces.
Madam Hooch share their bones and animation.
Old Harry
An older model stored under the same name can be found in the game and even if the modeling is still similar, the textures of it seems to be more similar to the PS2 version of Harry. The file format is older and incompatible with the current version of the Game Engine.

Even Older Harry
A very old model of Harry exists in "cutscene.geo".
The style of this one is a remnant from the very beginning of the development where the 6th generation games should have adopted a "Nintendo" style.
Harry wears a white and purple top and jeans rather than a red sweater and basic pants.
Professor Quirrell
As before, obviously a remnant of The Sorcerer's Stone. Unfortunately, loading the model crashes the game, but he has animations for walking, sneaking, reading, sneaking, "learning", "Summon Harry" and "Direct Away", among others.

Billywig
The Billywig is an obscure creature that never appeared in the movies.
They appear in the third game in a Chocolate Frog card and as a potion ingredient.
This creature seems to be functional; it has some animations and sound files.
Firenze
Firenze is a character from the first book who never appeared as a model in the games, but is instead confined to a single cutscene. He doesn’t have any animations.
Early Hermione
An older model for Hermione, under the name "Doris" for some reason.
Since the file is an old version, this makes it impossible to load in-game.
Falling Harry
A non-textured model found among the files of the first cutscene of Borgin & Burkes, it could have been used when Harry falls from the chimney, like he does in the PS2 version.
Early Magic Menagerie Shopkeeper
A very early version of the shopkeeper in the Magic Menagerie can be found in "gen190", the animation file for many characters in the game.
Spider
In addition to the small spiders and larger spiders found in the forbidden forest, the game has even larger spiders that are never used.
They have a similar design to Aragog, they can do charged frontal attacks and react to flipendo by flipping on their back.
However, they do not react to Incendio, making them invinsible.
Double Headed Newt
A very curious creature that should have been among the animals and creatures of the Magic Menagerie but is not there for reasons that may escape us.
A similar model is also found in the PS2 version.
The seller of the magic menagerie still refers to him in a used dialogue, although he does not own one:
Tstmwiz
A model not used in the game that will try to crash all the 3D software because the file is completely corrupted that has, despite everything, a temporary texture composed of some colour palettes
Lapifors Rabbit
This is a not very pretty rabbit with a very simplistic temporary texture, a rabbit with a better texture can be found at the magic menagerie.
At some point in development, the rabbit should have been used for the "Lapifors" spell (see the "Unused spell" section) which serves to transform the object into a horrible albino rabbit, it has a wrist of sounds that are not used.

Objects
Dungbomb
Dungbombs could have been bought at Gambol & Japes and from Fred and Goerge before being replaced by the Stink Pellets.
Other data no longer exists so it unfortunately cannot be used in game.
The model contains a crystalshaped model named "BALL".
Flipendo Shield
Found among the unloaded models in the Pink Room are these shields based on the Gambol and Japes shield. Harry should have been able to shoot it with Flipendo.
Bed Icon
A silly little bed to use as a "go to bed" icon in the inventory’s task section.
Can be seen in some instruction book of the game.
Task Checklist
A checklist for the Task Section of the inventory.
Something similar can be seen in a promotional screenshot.
Early Flipendo Switch
found in Test_MD, the button was clearer but especially the flipendo symbol was quite different than the final one, maybe more similar to the PC version. This particular item can be seen in a promotional screenshot at Leaky Cauldron

Wand
it's an untextured wand, also called "baguette" in French!
The model does not exist in the GameCube version.
Madam Malkin's Robes door
Found in the "Test_MD" map. According to its name "MMR_shopfrontdoor", it should have been used in Diagon Alley for one of the closed shops.
PS2 Bush
Found in the "Test_MD" map is one of the shrubs where beans are found in Hogwarts Park on the PS2 version.
Dummy Platform
Also found in the "Test_MD" map, it is a simple platform in the style of the Pink Room as seen in the Unused Levels section.
Cabinets
Two cabinets can be found on Burrow2, one is small one is tall.
It is unknow where exactly in the burrow they should be stocked
