KKND2: Krossfire is the sequel to the 1997 game KKND. It's mostly known for its humor and the high difficulty of its campaign.

Expansion Pack

While the prerelease versions up to April 1998 have their unit tables tightly packed, later releases have them spliced with several placeholders, indicating work on an expansion pack.

Unused Graphics

There are a few unused graphics in the retail version of them game, most notably a Series 9 detention center and a bunny rabbit.

Series 9 Detention Center

There are no missions where this building is used, unlike its Survivors counterpart. Evolved equivalent building is totally absent in the game.

Critter

Unused bunny critter, presumably KKND2 was supposed to have neutral animals.

Smiley

An interesting smiley sprite can be found in sprite sheet along with smoke, fire or debris particles.

Scourge Demon death

It appears Scourge Demon has also its own death animation which is unused. In retail game, when the demon dies, it instantly disappears. This might be actually the game's bug.
