Press Start on controller 2 at any time during the game's attract mode. Start the game and choose Save File 1, which will have a name consisting of the background graphics. Lady will start on the map that was on-screen when Start was pressed during the attract mode, and the following debugging functions will be enabled on controller 2:

  • Start: Save the debug mode file, which will allow it to be used during normal gameplay.
  • Up/Down: Cycle between all of the game's maps.
  • B: View the staff roll.
  • Y: Sound Test.
  • L: Maxes out all stats.
  • R: Freezes gameplay.
