It's not Touhou, again! This iteration introduces a few new features to differentiate it from its heritage, including the flash bomb.

Evanescent Existence Data

Some of the data from the game's predecessor, Evanescent Existence, is present in the game's files, including character sprites, as well as the graphics for their titles.

Earthen Miraculous Sword and Evanescent Existence were released at the same time, which is probably why they share data.

Unused Graphics

A yellow circle with an "S" in the center, also present in Evanescent Existence. This would later be used in Reactivate majestical imperial as a full powerup item.

Unused Enemies

A black T-shaped enemy with a green eye in its center.

A grey-and-black enemy that resembles a snake with wings.

Both sets of sprites are also present in Evanescent Existence.

Revisional Differences

Like in Evanescent Existence, the kanji in "Len'en" (鏈) has been changed to "連". The logo's colors have been changed from dull dark green to dark/light green.
