LittleBigPlanet (PlayStation 3)/Unused DLC

This is a sub-page of LittleBigPlanet (PlayStation 3).

These are unused DLC costumes and items. Whether they were to be given out as prizes or normally downloadable is unknown. Only through means of using a jailbroken PS3 to unlock all DLC are these items possible to get in-game.

Director Outfit

A costume intended for a video making contest that never happened. It can be found in a folder labeled "Machinima".

Bumblebee Costume

A bumblebee costume set. It was intended to be a part of the "Design a Sackboy" Competition pack, but was cut and later replaced with the Monkey King costume.

Master Sin Costume Material

Although shown in the promotional art for the Rag Doll Kung Fu kit, there is no costume material for Master Sin given out in the game.

Ico Costume Material

A costume material for Ico that wasn't released from the Shadow of the Colossus and Ico bundle.

Cole Costume Pieces Texture

The Infamous costume pack has a costume material texture for Cole which is used for the costume pieces, but has a full body texture for the rest of the body that isn't used.

Leprechaun Costume Pieces Texture

Another costume material texture that's used for costume pieces, only part of which can be seen.

Thor Costume Pieces Texture

A skin texture exists for the Thor costume from the mythology mini-pack. Part of the texture is used for costume pieces, but it appears to have been intended as a costume material. For part of the unused costume material there's a Swedish flag that would appear on Sackboy's arm.

Missing Costume Material

An icon for missing costume materials.

Ratchet and Clank

Originally, the Ratchet and Clank costumes were in LittleBigPlanet but were later released for LittleBigPlanet 2. An early version of the Clank costume can be found, lacking the glowing green eyes.

Big Daddy

Along with Ratchet and Clank, Big Daddy from BioShock was meant to be a DLC costume in LittleBigPlanet, and would later be downloadable in the sequel. It appears to be more brown and less metallic than the final. It was added in Patch 1.04 but was removed by Patch 1.07.

Sephiroth from the Final Fantasy series, like the others, never saw the light of day until the sequel. It's been present since Patch 1.01.

PaRappa the Rapper/Jak and Daxter

Added in Patch 1.12's language data are references to a PaRappa the Rapper costume. The actual costume pieces aren't found in the Main Game, But instead, found in the Deploy Build. Note that rather than using "PaRappa the Rapper", they used what appears to be both the Japanese name "PaRappa Rappa" and the English name combined.

In the same patch, Jak and Daxter costume pieces are referenced too. They would eventually be released in LittleBigPlanet 2. Oddly they only seem to be referenced in the German language data.

Mm Ribbon

A pink ribbon with the Media Molecule logo. Presumably it was given to contest winners, like the Competition Prize Crown.

God of War

Shown in the store preview icon for the sticker pack, there is an unused sticker of Kratos' head. The sticker itself does not exist in the full game.
