Midway Arcade Treasures 3 is the third game in the Midway Arcade Treasures series, which in this case consists entirely of arcade racing/driving games from Midway and Atari. It was later released on Windows as part of Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe Edition, which was merely just a bundle of Midway Arcade Treasures 2 and 3.

Also, for whatever reason, the GameCube port was exclusive to North America.

Debug Functions

Debug Menu

Hmmm...
To do:
Xbox codes.

The emulators for S.T.U.N. Runner, Badlands, Race Drivin', Super Off Road, and Super Off Road Track Pak contain a very basic debug menu. To access them, use one of the below codes.

--- Debug menus (GameCube) ---
003DC2FB 00000004 - Stun Runner
0013C1DB 00000004 - Badlands
00449C7B 00000004 - Race Drivin'

--- Debug menus (PlayStation 2 US) ---
0043A270 00000004 - Stun Runner
00195D70 00000004 - Badlands
004AA4B0 00000004 - Race Drivin'

00196370 00000004 - Badlands
004AABB0 00000004 - Race Drivin'
00193280 00000004 - Super Off Road/Super Off Road Track Pak

--- Debug menus (Windows) ---
Using Cheat Engine, change one of the below bytes to 03 when the game is paused.
004FFDBC - Stun Runner
000F3084 - Badlands
00508B3C - Race Drivin'
004EF9DC - Super Off Road/Super Off Road Track Pak

The first option returns you to the pause menu, the second option displays a graph (which doesn't work in the GameCube port), the third option toggles v-sync, and the fourth displays some player status icons at the bottom of the screen.

Game Selection Menu

MAT3-gameselect.png

The emulator for Super Off Road/Super Off Road Track Pak contains a basic game selection menu that can be accessed by replacing ffe.dol with offroad_d.dol in the GameCube version, replacing FFE.ELF with OFFROAD.ELF in the PlayStation 2 version, or just by running Offroad.exe in the Windows version. This menu isn't present in the Xbox version.

Crash Handler

If the game ever crashes, it'll display a basic crash handler.

Old Control Screens

Launch.xtex and the data folder contain several control screens that are leftover from older builds of the compilation. They are all stylized very differently than what ended up being used in final.

Save Icon

The Xbox executables for Hydro Thunder and San Francisco Rush 2049 both have a save icon that goes unused due to the saving functionality being handled only by DEFAULT.XBE. The graphic itself implies that the two games were possibly intended to be on a combo disc that went unreleased.
