A late prototype of Midway Arcade Treasures 3 for the GameCube, released on Feb 13, 2023.

General Differences

To do: Check for any Debug functions

• Disc Title is GS rather than Midway Arcade Treasures 3
• Many files on the disc differ when compared to retail
• A couple .bat files are leftover
• opening.bnr.bak is a leftover from Midway Arcade Treasures 2

Title and Extra Content Menus

• With EXTRA CONTENT highlighted, it shows Super Offroad previews on the cabinet screen, rather than the credits
• Selecting CREDITS in the EXTRA CONTENT menu does nothing, as the file credits.bik is not present
• EDDY is spelled as EDDIE
• Different background, which is not animated

Pre-Game Menus

For some of the games, there are a fair bit of differences found in these menus:

• More window transparency
• Fonts are really blurry
• The highlighted option was darker, and changed to a brighter blue in the final
• Lacks the OPTIONS text in the upper right
• Game Setting was changed to Game Settings
• Autosave defaults to Off
• Game Settings or Controller Setup menus usually have different defaults and options. For example, in Super Offroad, the Women's Clothing option defaults to Bikinis and it lacks the Continues setting
• Most games lack any Bonus Content, simply saying HISTORY
• Badlands, Race Drivin, and Super Offroad load the game before the Press start to play text appears, rather than after pressing start

Some pre-game menus are closer to the final's design but the Game Settings or Controller Setup menus usually have different options and defaults.

In Game Menus

• Some control screens had minor differences to the GameCube controller graphic, plus an option to select configurations
• When exiting some games, the autosave window doesn't appear. For other games, when it appears, it dims the screen less and says No, disable auto-save rather than just No
