The remake of the DS version, with a different battle system, and more orchestrated musical tracks, more dungeons and gorgeous 3D graphics instead of the DS version gorgeous 2D graphics, as well as an extended ending. It's notable for being the first Ni no Kuni game to be released internationally, unlike the DS game and the two cell-phone prequels.

Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically:
  • Most likely, the PS3 version has unused animated FMV versions of Oliver entrance to Ninokuni, and his entrance to Goronail, rip them.
  • Re-enable the debug mode somehow in the retail build.

Unused Music

Early Victory Fanfare

Early Quest Completion Jingle

These sound files are unused in both the PS3 and DS versions. They were however used in the TGS 2009 demo of the DS version, as early versions of the "Battle Victory" theme and the Quest Completion theme.

DS Alternate Ending music

This would supposedly play in the DS version at the second ending, but the PS3 version doesn't have alternate endings so it goes unused. An unused instrumental version of the ending song is present in the Japanese version.
