Regional Differences
As in the arcade, only the Japanese version allows you to choose which order to play the missions in, although the Prison Camp and the Airport have prerequisites. This means that you can finish the game by playing only Jungle, Prison Camp, and Airport, but the President is less happy and you get a smaller bonus for playing fewer levels.
In addition to the women and children, the Japanese version features a third civilian type in the Village: the bikini babe. This censorship isn't present in the arcade version, where the bikini babe is in all regions.
