...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.

A review build for the PlayStation 2 is dated about two weeks before the final NTSC build. It has several differences such as missing Spanish localization.

Audio

Music

  • Chaka Demus & Pliers' "Sissy" is present in this build, however, it was cut in the final game due to licensing issues.
  • "Live 135" by Patientzero had a different arrangement.

Cutscenes

  • The intro FMV is slightly longer. It also has some differences like slightly different car models, these models were changed in the final game to prevent copyright infringement.
Early Final

Interface

  • Interface colors were slightly different.

Loading screens

  • The rear bumper of the Veloci in one of the loading screens is different; the rear grille wasn't split and it had quad exhausts rather than two.

Rival images

  • The images for the racers were slightly bigger.

Vehicles

  • The Cocotte and the Citi Turbo were originally sponsored by JD Edelbrock but this was changed. The logo remains in the game files but it is not used. Its string can still be used in the final game. Similarly, the 1971 Bestia was sponsored by Team Baurtwell, but this was changed. Although its logo is shown after one of Angel's races is completed, the logo remains in the game files but it is not used.
  • Unused images for all cars are present, probably intended for the main menu. For some reason, the images for the Cocotte, Cohete, Citi Turbo, SLF450X, SLF400, and the cut Vampire are absent and are just blank files.
