This page details one or more prototype versions of Power Rangers: Time Force (PlayStation).

A late prototype of the PlayStation release of Power Rangers: Time Force was released by ObscureGamers on July 8, 2022, as part of TeraRelease 3.0. It is dated August 29, 2001, which is a little over a month before the retail US build.

Known Differences

Specifically: There's likely a lot more than just this. The different files are BIGLUMP.BIN (stores text and textures), PRTF.BIN and TRACK1.IXA (stores audio).

Debugging Functions

This prototype has two debugging functions enabled:

Title Screen Build

Holding L2, L1, R1 or R2 in the game's title screen displays a build date.

Free Movement

Holding L2 during gameplay enables a free movement mode in which holding different buttons allows the player to move their character in different directions, with the camera being adjusted accordingly:

  • Up/Down - Z axis movement
  • Right/Left - X axis movement
  • Triangle/Cross - Y axis movement
  • Square/Circle - rotation
