Unused Music

A single unused track is present in the game at 0x14 (20). It bears a slight resemblance to the Course Select theme in Raiden DX.

Several items have earlier versions of their graphics left in the game.

Medals 1 and 2 were given more detail and medal 3 (which has no palette data) was replaced by an unique item called Miclus.

There are also three completely unused items in the game. The use of the pink S and lightning items is unknown, but they might have been early versions of the Full Power item. The green power-up was, interestingly, used in Raiden III, but goes unused here.

Unused Animation Frames

Fairy	Miclus

The Fairy and the Miclus both have unused frames present. The Fairy looks as if it's hurt and the Miclus looks as if it's sneezing. Interestingly, the Miclus frame was used in Raiden DX, giving you extra points when you pick it up during the animation.
