The Japanese version has an Escape track, while the international versions combined the name of the Escape song with the Ending song.

Musical Easter Eggs

SOLO SORTIE is roughly 2:55 in length. Only the first ~1:44 of the track plays before the stage transitions to the boss fight. The remainder of the track can only be heard using an external music player.

BLAST ROCK has a hidden ending to the track from 16:39 - 16:47 that can only be heard using an external music player. It is an homage to the game over tune THE END OF A WAR from the arcade version of R-Type.

A SUBMERGING TITAN has a hidden 10-second trumpet riff at 8:00 - 8:10 that can only be heard using an external music player.
