Proto Difference

I've found one prototype difference: No region lockout. Theclaw (talk) 00:19, 3 November 2013 (EDT)

Should we add the prototype thing at the bottom?

Correction about the Puyo Puyo font

The T and Y letters from the original Puyo Puyo font ARE actually used. After a VS match is over, Has Bean (Aka Carbuncle) says "Try Again", and that message uses the original Puyo Puyo font, and since that message includes T and Y, that means those letters ARE used. The rest of the letters are still unused to my knowledge. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Snessy the duck (talk • contribs)

Reverse engineering notes?

Since this game has been torn into before, does anyone here have reverse engineering notes for this game? -- Novedicus

Unreleased Music (beta version?)

A man named David Javelosa has been credited as the sound designer for this game in the game's end credits. What most of you might not know is, he actually uploaded an unused song from an early version of Mean Bean Machine onto his official YT channel.

Oddly, this music seems to be from Kraftwerk (specifically, Home Computer). It was removed for copyright reasons. Should we add it to the page? --kaidigem (talk) 22:01, 16 May 2019 (EDT)

Given that the song is still present in the final game (albeit unused), I'd say the video itself is worth a Prerelease page given that it's footage of a prototype build. There could be other differences, too. -WarioBarker (talk) 05:51, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
