Doing the level select without using a broken controller

Dumb FYI, for the level select, it is actually possible to do that on a Famicom without a broken controller. On the front expansion slot (Where you put stuff like the Zapper pheripheral) you can short the middle pins by using something like a nickel. I've done it with my Famicom when I was young, sadly that thing is known to slowly kill the Famicom. StriderVM 10:01, 27 June 2013
