Unused P2 Controller Setting

On bootup, the programming at SNES address $818165-81816C checks if Select is pressed on Controller 2. If true, #$FFFF is written to memory address $7E06D0. However, no programming was found that reads this RAM address. It's possible this is a leftover for activating the sound test described in the previous section.
