I just noticed that you have started to create a page for the A Link to the Past prototypes from the Gigaleak. I knew that there were possible differences (in the texts especially), but I did not know where exactly, apart from the title screen "Retour vers le PassƩ" (there is a story about this title in France). I'm glad to see that there are a few small differences in these prototypes.
The North American French version is apparently a Canadian version. I don't know if there are any differences between the two versions (proto and final), but it is different from the French version, so a comparison from the French version is not good. Try a comparison with the Canadian version which is a mix of US and FR version.

- Thanks for pointing that out, I will change that. In terms of text, I absolutely agree. However, in terms of gameplay, I was not sure what to to, since it seems like an in-between build, possibly. As I mentioned, it seems to run at the speed of the European ROMs, despite being from the North American French asm folder. I am currently playing multiple builds simultaneously to observe differences, and noticed the walking speed difference immediately. Is there a better way of directly comparing gameplay PAL vs. NTSC games? Thanks for your time! --Atomicdesolation (talk) 14:54, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
- I don't know if it's possible to compare the gameplay between an NTSC and PAL version. Maybe by making a video with specific moments for each version. I think this is still the best possibility.
- Ah, isn't there an error for the address 0x40000 in the text ? The game crashes if I replace from this address. 0x80000 it works perfectly.
