I'm assuming you're using Ninjahax 2.5's new screenshot feature to get the Kirby and NES Remix title screens. Can you teach me how to use it? I'm trying to get some shots from Sonic Generations, but pressing HOME just takes me to the home menu as usual. WhoIAm (talk) 14:48, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
- You need to boot up the game you want to take screenshots for through HANS.
- 1.Make sure you downloaded smea's latest homebrew pack. Select HANS from the homebrew launcher. It'll take you to another screen where you press either left/right to select the game you wish to launch. There's a black/white prompt that will boot up the first time you run a game through HANS that allows you to change the clock speed (on N3DS) and region/language settings.
- 2. That's it. You should be able to press the home button to take screenshots. After you're done ... you can exit a game by holding down L+R+B+d-pad down.
- 3. Go to "Screenshot tool" on the homebrew launcher to export your raw screenshots to png files. They will appear in "screenshots" in the root of your SD card. How you get to your 3DS screenshots is up to you. Jedivulcan (talk) 15:03, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
- Ah...it worked. Thanks. You should add this info to the help page: https://tcrf.net/Help:Contents/Taking_Screenshots WhoIAm (talk) 15:06, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
Stingby in Captain Toad (Switch)
Did you actually find the Stingby in the files? I can't find "Bug.szs" in ObjectData. --Hiccup (talk) 15:28, 14 July 2018 (EDT)
- Yes, as "Hacchin". Jedivulcan (talk) 18:41, 14 July 2018 (EDT)
- Oh, they must have changed the ObjectName since 3D Land. Probably should have checked. Thanks for the info. --Hiccup (talk) 02:02, 15 July 2018 (EDT)
- No prob. I posted this on my own Twitter yesterday: Twitter Link (GIF animation of Stingbys). There's more animations. I got lazy and only posted one. The one thing I can't remember is if it was possible to land on Stingbys in Captain Toad for that "squish" defeat animation if you fall on enemies. Might be a leftover from 3D World that carried over into the Switch version. Jedivulcan (talk) 16:11, 15 July 2018 (EDT)

Do you still have Shantae and the Seven Sirens Part 1 somehow?
Long story short, Part 1 no longer exists anywhere on the internet. I emailed freaking WayForward and they told me they basically overwrote the whole thing. If you've still got the file dump you uploaded those portraits from, you might be the only one who can do version comparisons. YourBuddyBill (talk) 04:11, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, the Apple Arcade dump and its assets are long gone. Jedivulcan (talk) 16:54, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
- ah, crud. I've been digging all over the internet and no dice whatsoever, still. The dialogue and item files could have been quite informative, if they still existed. Best bet now is probably people who played part 1 and weren't impressed enough to bother playing part 2 AND manually turned off auto-updates... in other words, it's probably lost forever if nobody specifically backed it up.
