Uploading and Merging
Would you mind uploading rest of the audio files for Bully: Scholarship Edition? Also, should the Unused Ambience and music be merged into a subpage known as Unused Sounds? SodaDog (talk) 11:04, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- I will upload the sounds once I get to it. I am a little sick today. Also, the subpage is fine. You may want to merge the unused music with the unused sound subpage, too. Smoke (talk) 11:08, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- What about the voices? SodaDog (talk) 11:13, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- Keep the unused dialog subpage and the unused sounds/music subpage separate. Smoke (talk) 11:14, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- What about unused graphics? Should that have it's own page, or is it too small? Also, this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27pi-Pr9l40 SodaDog (talk) 11:30, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- Graphics is good for now. Also for the three builds of Bully: SE, wait until he shows some sort of "proof" (e.g screenshots, video). It would be better if he took the builds and put them into iso files and uploaded them to the public. Smoke (talk) 11:36, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- I see. Should the Unused Ambience section of the page be arranged like the Unused Music as in, having titles for each unused sound? SodaDog (talk) 11:39, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- Eh, why not? Smoke (talk) 11:41, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- Should I mark the ones not found in the PS2 files as "exclusive to Scholarship Edition"? Also, this mission has a lost introduction line which was restored in Anniversary Edition and not found within the files of other verions. https://youtu.be/TUDOoy5sA9k?t=1m12s SodaDog (talk) 11:54, 20 February 2017 (EST)
- Marking them would be useful. And the lost line, it can be mentioned. Smoke (talk) 11:56, 20 February 2017 (EST)

Thanks! SodaDog (talk) 12:58, 21 February 2017 (EST)
- I'll upload them once I get home. So possibly in about 3 hours. Smoke (talk) 13:02, 21 February 2017 (EST)
- I'll transcribe and arrange the page myself. Don't forget about the other characters! In case if you're wondering, I own the PS2 version of the game, and I cannot rip XWB files from that version of the game, even via the normal method. SodaDog (talk) 13:03, 21 February 2017 (EST)
- The PS2 version is a completely different version from Scholarship Edition. It runs on the RenderWare engine. But, I have looked through it just for a quick peek. Smoke (talk) 13:05, 21 February 2017 (EST)

Moving Talking Places
I can't seem to access the IRC for some reason, should we talk on Steam instead? SodaDog (talk) 17:11, 19 March 2017 (EDT)
- It's KiwiIRC that's not working. I'm using IRCCloud as a temporary replacement (it requires signing up). Smoke (talk) 17:17, 19 March 2017 (EDT)
Unused models
How did you figure out which models were unused on Counter-Strike:_Source#Unused_Map_Models? Did you play the level? I ask because many look used to me. I haven't edited the page as I may be mistaken.--Robossnik (talk) 08:48, 6 May 2017 (EDT)
- I have used BSPSource 1.3.13. Alternatively, I also the command listmodels to help too.
For BSPSource:
- I loaded a map into the program
- I opened the "Dependencies" tab, then the "Models" tab
- I copied all of the model files from that tab, then pasted them into Notepad++
- I repeated step 1 - 3 until I had gone through the whole map folder (excluding test_speakers)
- I extracted all of the models and textures from the VPK files into a separate folder
- I went through all of the models in the folder and deleted the model files that were present in Notepad++
- If any model files were leftover in the folder, I made sure to recheck Notepad++
My method may or may not have worked in the end, but so far it's been accurate.
NOTE: Some files, like the computer.mdl and coffee_mug3.mdl, are unused, were turned into map brushes, etc.. I would like to recheck them too since I do make a mistake or few. Smoke (talk) 09:52, 6 May 2017 (EDT)
- Seems almost full proof, to rule out any error, when playing the game using the impulse 106 cheat on the models you believe are unused to see if the name matches. I also speculate the two cs_assault boxes with non-english writing on, may only be used in non-english builds of the game, would still be worth mentioning.
- Also, can you extract the print screens from File:CSS computer.mdl.png and other computers? Might be some interesting internal Valve programs to see.--Robossnik (talk) 10:08, 6 May 2017 (EDT)

Well I can't work out why those models are unused, have you done a comparison between the ones that look identical? Such as dryer_box & dryer_box2. The file names suggest they may be different versions of the same model.--Robossnik (talk) 12:13, 6 May 2017 (EDT)
- For dryer_box.mdl & dryer_box2.mdl, dryer_box2.mdl is an opened variant of dryer_box.mdl which isn't used. I've already stated it on the page. Smoke (talk) 12:44, 6 May 2017 (EDT)

PNG Crushing
Whatever tool(s) you're using to crush PNGs are stripping the gamma information, making them appear slightly different in certain web browsers like Firefox. Please check your tool settings and ensure gamma information is retained going forward. Thanks. -Ehm (talk) 15:35, 13 August 2017 (EDT)
