Don't add broken image links

I noticed you added a large number of links on the version differences page for Animal Crossing, but these have not been uploaded to the wiki. Please do not create links to images that haven't been uploaded, especially since they've not been uploaded for over a year. --From: CounterDiving (talk) 22:28, 9 September 2019 (EDT)

The Sims 2 (GC, PS2, Xbox) Files

Hi! I've seen the contributions you've done for the TS2 console. I have been trying to extract the files so I can read the code and look at textures. Sadly, I've been unsuccessful at trying to open any of the .ARC files, giving me the error "bad header". How did you get them extracted? Would it be possible for you to send me yours if you still have them? -- MadRayne (talk) 18:03, 23 April 2020 (UTC)

Bully

Hi, I saw a message you sent two years ago about me contributing to the Bully article. Thanks! I do have a Discord, although I usually use it for personal use. ^^ Elite Octoling (talk) 21:14, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

Bully's Pre-release page makeover

Hey there!

This is a bit awkward but I'll try to explain as best as I can...

I noticed this page in your profile some time ago and I really appreciate that there's someone else who's documenting this game to this day!

The thing is, Bully's documentation has always been a bit of a mess and a "late-to-the-party" thing, due to the inactivity of the community.

This means that a lot of info was believed to be true until more people actually started digging into the game more (combined with Rockstar's almost complete silence on the development).

I've been meaning to make a pre-release article, but that has always been a long-term thing, as I wanted to be as accurate as possible and wait for more info to surface. (Especially since TCRF doesn't like speculation much)

I currently have no plans to start this article as there's so much to cover, but also a lot we don't know, so I'd rather be focusing on the game itself, first.

Like I mentioned earlier, you've clearly put a lot of effort into this and you're one of the few who still documents this game, but I've noticed this article is pretty outdated, as it containing wrong info, plenty of speculation, and mistakes, too.

So, for the time being, I was planning on just not having a pre-release article at all and start a new one from scratch in the future, even if it would take a long time to be made, to not feed misinformation.

What do you think? --SimonBestia (talk) 18:44, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

Sure, go ahead. I've pretty much stopped working on this article last year or so. SodaDog (talk) 19:43, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
I'll ask this here to avoid creating multiple topics, hopefully it's not an issue. What tool did you use to extract the .bnk files on the PS2 version of Bully? There are tools for Scholarship Edition but I can't seem to find anything for this specific version. --SimonBestia (talk) 14:05, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
I used Magic.txd, I think. SodaDog (talk) 14:27, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
Unfortunately that's just for .txd files, aka the textures. The .bnk files contain some short SFX. I was thinking whether or not it was morally wrong to just take them from Scholarship Edition, seeing as they weren't changed and are exactly the same, but I'm leaning towards wanting to use PS2 sounds because I don't feel like that's right. --SimonBestia (talk) 15:29, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
Sorry, but I cannot remember how to extract the sound effects. SodaDog (talk) 15:34, 8 September 2020 (UTC)
All the audio in most PS2 games use Sony Raw ADPCM encoding, and Bully is no exception. Tools like MFAudio and CMP2 and PSound are your way to go. I used it a few years ago to extract all the music. --Edness (talk) 15:51, 8 September 2020 (UTC)

Hit and Run Prerelease

I have compiled all the comparison images I could find and put them onto the page. Out of curiosity, has anyone ever asked about a prerelease build for the game? I'm not talking about a prototype but it would be nice to get textures that go completely unused in the final game. Elite Octoling (talk) 20:31, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
