"Filter translations" on Recent Changes

The "Filter translations" selection at the top of the Recent Changes page doesn't seem to work. I tried to set it to filter the page translations from the index, but nothing happened. The translations were still in the index of changes. Even the "Page translation log" changes (marking pages for translation) could still be seen. Could you look into this? --AquaBat (talk) 22:50, 23 December 2013 (EST)

It's already known and is a part of one of my tasks already in the queue. Thanks for pinging me about it though. --Zerojay (talk) 23:11, 23 December 2013 (EST)
I believe the filtering should now be working properly by default. Let me know if you see otherwise or have any other issues you'd like to see worked on. --23:19, 23 December 2013 (EST)

iOS Safari double-click

Since I have a iPad and a iPhone, I can test this out for you. But is it HTML links? (i.e. [1]) or in-wiki links? (i.e. The Cutting Room Floor) Chaossy - The Computer Geek (talk) 09:50, 24 December 2013 (EST)

As far as I've been told, it's *all* links on the Wiki entirely. I have to say that I'm somewhat skeptical that this is a problem with the wiki, personally, but it's BMF54123 who is suffering from the issue, so that's the main reason why I'm checking into it. Any testing you can do from your end would be incredibly helpful, thank you. --Zerojay (talk) 09:52, 24 December 2013 (EST)
Yeah. iOS Safari requires double click for some reason. I'm also currently testing on a different wiki and it runs perfectly with no double clicks at all. Chaossy - The Computer Geek (talk) 10:05, 24 December 2013 (EST)
Actually, I remember encountering this also on an iPod Touch. --Hiccup (talk) 10:24, 24 December 2013 (EST)
I was able to verify this myself on a work iPod Touch a few minutes ago. Indeed, it does seem to be only ours that has this problem. I'm stumped and it doesn't look like anyone else knows why. #mediawiki has been as helpful as you'd expect an IRC channel to be, unfortunately. Not giving up on this. --Zerojay (talk) 10:57, 24 December 2013 (EST)
After investigation, this is likely caused by iOS's hover support and can likely be fixed with some CSS changes. This will take some time to implement. Further technical reading: http://www.nczonline.net/blog/2012/07/05/ios-has-a-hover-problem/ --Zerojay (talk) 00:46, 26 December 2013 (EST)
It turns out the problem is a stupid Safari bug: http://blog.yorkxin.org/posts/2013/07/03/universal-hover-triggers-double-tap-bug-in-ios-safari
The only real fix is to hide the Search box in the sidebar by adding #p-search {display:none;} to your common.css (or the CSS of any skin, if you only want to disable it in specific skins). --BMF54123 (talk) 02:35, 26 December 2013 (EST)

Vector skin breaks Template:Featured

When using the Vector skin, Template:Featured appears on top of the Bob. Mind looking into this? --AttackedbyGlitch (talk) 20:07, 9 February 2014 (EST)

Forgetful Translator

I started translating pages, then I stopped for an indefinite amount of time because for some reason, some parts just don't want to be saved, so you get situations with perfectly translated pages with a big block of english text in the middle, with no way to fix it. Don't worry, I found plenty of other things to do, but it'd be nice to look into it a bit. --Ltr121312 (talk) 23:27, 28 August 2017 (EDT)
