Bill Walsh College Football was EA's first college football game for the Genesis, built on a codebase that would be used for all of EA's college football games on the Genesis (and even was ported to the SNES).

Spelling Error

The game internally contains the city and state information for each of the schools featured. Unfortunately, the (University of) Kansas team has a spelling error in its city: "Lawerence". This was corrected for the Sega CD version.
