So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

Set in a mysterious world, Little Nightmares follows the journey of Six, a hungry little girl who must escape the Maw, an iron vessel inhabited by monstrous, twisted beings.

Internal Name

In the game files, Little Nightmares is referred to as Atlas.

Unused Animations

Six

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Add the rest of the unused animations.

Six, being the main protagonist, has some unused animations in the files. These can be located in Six's animations folder (Game/Characters/Player/Animations).

Whistle Animations

Six has two unused animations for doing a short whistle, one standing and the other crouched. These animations were intended for the scrapped whitle lure mechanic, as the standing one is seen in the Gamescom 2016 demo. This also explains Six's unused jaw bone in her skeleton, as the standing whistle animation has her jaw bone used.

Hypnotized Animations

Six being hypnotized. Purpose unknown.

The Lady

Most of these don't have an explanation, while a few might have been for the Lady's boss fight.

Praying Animations

The Lady praying to something or someone. Purpose unknown.

Boss Fight Animations

Animations that were intended for the boss fight at the end of the game.

Other Animations

The rest of the animations the Lady doesn't use in the final game. There is an early idle stance, a walk cycle, combing her hair which is in the final game, but in the unused one she is sitting down, and there is an animation for the Lady removing her mask, possibly for a cutscene.

Unused Textures

Six's 'PR' Textures

Six has "PR" textures in the texture files, which are higher-quality versions of her main textures. These are somewhat used in the static pose models used for the title screen and Chapter Select sections of the game, but not on her actual model in-game. For some reason, there is no higher-quality version for her hair textures. Her coat PR textures are diffuse, normal mapping, and metallic, while Six's body PR textures are the diffuse and normal mapping.
