So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
Hmmm...
To do:
Add images, go more in depth about unused content.

Outlast is a survival horror game where in order to survive, the player must either run or hide from enemies.

Also, jumpscares.

Unused Music

An early version of the credits music.

Miles' Head

When you see your shadow in the floor, you can see your body and a head, but in reality Miles has no head.

While technically used, it's never seen in-game, even through the use of hacks. It's invisible by default, so the camera doesn't clip through it. It's not until the ending of the Whistleblower DLC where we can see it in (almost) full detail. You can see it better with the free cam command.

Unused Models

Miles has an unused, earlier revision of his model in the files that was used in the teaser trailer.

Revisional Differences

When Outlast released, it featured Quick Time Events that required you to shake your mouse horizontally rapidly, this was patched out at a later date and it is now only used once.

Outlast also featured different patient spawns during the Female Ward section of the game, with the notable difference being now he is behind a gate.
