A PAL prototype of Bubsy 3D dated March 13, 1997 was released by drx on September 12, 2020.

General Differences

• When starting the game, the piracy warning appears corrupted, whereas this isn't the case in the retail EU release. The uncorrupted image can be found in the Common Things article.

• On the title screen, the music doesn't play by default, due to an coding error. You have to go into the options menu and turn on the music.
• This build has a working Load/Save Menu despite the game only using passwords to save your progress in the PAL version.
• The password system is not implemented in this build, so you can't enter passwords or cheats.
