Tomb Raider III early demo-title.png

Two demos were released for Tomb Raider III: A very early demo featuring Lara in a prison, and a closer-to-final demo taking place in some overgrown jungle ruins.

Demo Debug

Hmmm...
To do:
There's probably more stuff buried in this demo, but it would take somebody more well-versed in Tomb Raider III to describe what's different.

In the early prison demo, it is possible to enable a debug mode by pressing L1, R2, X and Square at the same time during gameplay.

If entered correctly, Lara will begin swimming. While in this state, she is totally invincible. It was probably used by developers to get around levels quickly, and can only be enabled in this prison demo.

The prison demo is included with some issues of Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine and some copies of Pandemonium. It also is bundled with Double Life - Music for PlayStation which came with a demo disc.
