King Tag

I noticed the SNES version doesn't have a song called "King Tag", present in the Genesis version. And frankly, I don't think I ever heard that jingle in the Genesis version to begin with. Can someone confirm if it's unused or not? (I know, it's on the Genesis version, but I wasn't gonna create a Genesis version talk page). Either way, can we check if this theme is inside the SNES version's ROM? {EspyoT} 21:45, 8 July 2012 (EDT)

Sound Test

This article references a sound test but I don't see any documentation on it.--Ariss (talk) 01:00, 2 August 2016 (EDT)

Judging from the screenshots it's available in the regular options menu. --BatElite (talk) 04:44, 2 August 2016 (EDT)

Hoo Haa's extra track

As per this video, if you enter the sound test, play Hoo Haa, leave to the main menu, enter the sound test again, and play Hoo Haa again, there's a chance you'll hear some extra instruments in the song. The steps needed to trigger this and the final outcome make me think it's not an Easter egg, but a glitch. That said, I can't tell if the extra track is using data from the song that normally goes unused, or if it's reading data from a different song, or garbage data altogether. Worth a check, one of these days. {EspyoT} 16:44, 10 April 2018 (EDT)

there is only one other video about it on youtube, its a straight upload of the song, and given its description, i have a feeling its a glitch, the video is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0ACetoJKeg&t=3s --TheDinkster (talk) 17:20, 27 May 2018 (EDT)

You don't need to exit to the main menu. Go to the sound test, select Hoo Hah, then select Circle of Life, and then return to Hoo Hah to get the same effect. There's a similar effect with Under The Stars, but I can't remember which song triggers it. I'm pretty sure it's a glitch. But if anyone decides to dig deeper to see what goes wrong, please check out Can't Wait to be King as well - me and my friend once got a really weird version of the song that was clearly a glitch, but the additional beats sounded like they belonged there.
