This game was never completed and/or given a public release.
As a result of this, keep in mind that the developers might have used or deleted some of the content featured here, had the game actually been released.

Universal Soldier is the bastardized port of Turrican II that everyone loves to hate. Probably for the better, the SNES version wasn't released - we got Super Turrican instead.

Unused Music

Like its Genesis counterpart, the SNES version contains some unused Turrican II music. This short song is based on "Alien Squeeze", part of the ambient music that plays during Stage 5-1 of the original game.

As with the other tracks in the SNES version, the instrumentation is extremely rough and the song has some timing issues. This is also the only song that isn't part of the game's music pointer table - index 0E, which it had probably occupied previously, had been replaced with a null pointer.

The song can be heard in-game using Pro Action Replay codes 80CA51EE 80CA5282 80CA5306 7E03340E.
