  • LEGO games - PotC and SW3 have an unused icon from LEGO Indiana Jones (LEGOSW3 fedora icon.png), PotC has a(n unused?) jolly rodger icon
  • Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games has a test_field and axis nsbmd files, as well as a camera text file
  • Mario Slam Basketball has graphics for TM for Square Enix logo, yet (R) is used. Check other regions
  • My Pet Dolphin has a blank file called "新規テキスト文書.txt" (New Text Document.txt), a movie called testmoviec.vx (used?), and a picture called helpdummy
  • MySims series has compressed debug fonts and MySims: Kingdom has numerous test files
  • Ninjatown's sdat is in a folder called NitroComposer. Not unused, just worth mentioning.
  • Nintendogs USA versions (not Dalmatian & Friends) have a text document called "USAまだっす.txt" which isn't present in European versions and all(?) versions have two models in a debug folder: col_a.nsbmd and col_b.nsbmd. These are internally named pSphere1 and pCube1 respectively
  • Pac 'n Roll has a test map (map\w00\)
  • Professor Layton games have debug dat files which seem to be for testing scripts
  • Puyo Puyo!!: Puyopuyo 20th Anniversary has a test mode
  • Shining Stars: Super Starcade has a fair bit of lua
  • Scrabble: Crossword Game has psp/pc leftovers
  • Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution has placeholder graphics for a cultural advisor and an unused "Civilization DS" title

    Does the Spy ever enter combat?
  • Strawberry Shortcake: Strawberryland Games has an animation called "StrawberryRIG-DS_2006-FINAL-JUMP_v004.anim" which sticks out like a sore thumb (used), and a test level named "teststage2.llr"
  • The Sims 2 series has a a lot of test stuff, just need to reverse-engineer the nitro archive format
  • The Smurfs has "Makefile" in every directory, same with its sequel
  • Thor: God of Thunder contains sound effects from Batman: The Brave and the Bold, both by WayFoward. Not to mention the copy of the sdat called contra.sdat
  • Zoo Keeper possibly has an unused icon, check if not used for DS Download Play
