World of Warcraft/Unused Items
This is a sub-page of World of Warcraft.
There are thousands of unused items in the game, ranging from items that exist for functionality reasons (Monster - Vrykul, Sword 2H (Ulduar), Monster - Item, Glass - Purple Wine) to hundreds of Quality Assurance test items (QA Combat Test Plate DPS Bracer 3, for instance). This section is not exhaustive, and only lists the more notable items.
All items have a link to their respective Wowhead page, and you can find it by clicking on the item's name in the infobox.

Artifact Quality
Prior to the expansion pack Legion, items of Artifact quality had never been available to players. The color currently used to designate Artifact quality is pale gold, which was once used for heirloom items as well; the color has since been changed to light blue. Blizzard's original planned color for the quality was red.
