Hmmm...
To do:
Figure out if the debug mode inputs work on actual hardware. The next to impossible timing of it might possibly be an emulation error due to the faster loading times on emulators.

ClayFighter 63⅓ is the third installment in Interplay's series of fighting games. The game was planned to have much more content, but a lot was cut out due to time constraints.

Fortunately, Interplay released a "Sculptor's Cut" version containing most of the previously promised features (HoboCop still didn't make the cut). Unfortunately, it's very hard to find and very expensive.

Removed Characters

Using the character modifier code 811A2B2E 00?? (where "??" is one of the below) on the character select screen will trigger flashing between the selected character's name graphic and the removed character:

  • 06 - High Five
  • 07 - HoboCop
  • 0B - Lady Liberty
  • 0C - Lockjaw Pooch
  • 10 - Zappa Yow-Yow Boyz

Trying to play a match with any of these characters will result in playing as Bad Mr. Frosty in his alternate color.

Unused Palette

I'm blue, da ba dee da ba die...

GameShark code 801A2B39 0001 will let you use an unused outfit for Kung Pow, consisting of a blue gi and green pan.

Debugging Features

Debug Mode

CF63-debugmode.png

To enable a secret debug mode you will need to hold Z while the game is starting up, then while holding Z still, press D-Pad Left, D-Pad Left, D-Pad Right, D-Pad Right, D-Pad Up, D-Pad Down, A, B extremely quickly before the logo appears on-screen. The timing for this is next to impossible to do, in fact it might no longer be possible without GameShark cheats.

  • Analog Stick: Select character.
  • C-Up: Next stage.
  • C-Down: Previous stage.
  • Start: Begin match.

To extend the time needed for each successful button input, apply the below code.
