As you might expect, this is a port of Cool Spot. As you might not expect, however, it's based on the Game Gear version, making it a port of a port.
Unused Graphics
In the title screen's tiles is "THE UNCOLA". This is seen on the 7-Up bottle in other versions of the game, but not here.
Level Skip
Press Right, Right, Right, Left, Left, Left, Right, Left, Right on the title screen. A sound will confirm correct entry. To skip levels, pause the game, hold Select, and unpause.

The European version does not feature 7-Up branding, as Spot was not the brand's mascot there (that role instead being filled by Fido Dido).
