Unused Content in Missions

Weapons Range South

Through the game's files, there was a playable training mission named Weapons Range South (SPBHD_00) which was meant to test every weapons available to US forces in Somalia. It was not shown in campaign menu, but can be selected by placing its .bms file to installation game folder with /d command-line parameter from the game's shortcut.

River Raid

  • You're originally going to meet the informant first before making it to Deka (as he was first mentioned in the Public Beta loading screen.) according to mission's events & goals. He was present behind the 4 slum buildings in the south near the weapon warehouse in sitting animation state (Interestingly, killing him would lead to mission failure). He also appears in the Prima Guide for the game.

Gasoline Alley

  • There will be intel documents around the Otto's warehouse interior according to mission events, yet no documents was ever found. It can be hinted by a commander said to the player before infiltrating the warehouse to look for any possible intel.
  • If the player looks on the 2nd floor of the warehouse by zooming out the third person camera, there is a room which was scrapped during development. It had a tall of radio equipment and a floating fan. It's unknown what the room was going to be in this mission.

Early Terrain

An early version of dvdg1 map terrain (that was used in Marka Breakdown, Bandit Crossing, and River Raid mission.), called cine was unused. It can be loaded in a map editor but a few parts of the terrain are messed up or broken.
