This page details one or more prototype versions of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

Hmmm...
To do:
When this game is released, move the unused content on this page to the mainline one, and leave demo-specific content in that page.

An online test demo of Inazuma Eleven Victory Road was released on March 28, 2024, subtitled as Leave your Inazuma Mark on the World!. There are some interesting things to be found in the files. The beta is split into two parts; the first part was released along with the beta, while the second part was released on May 20th. A lot of files from the second half and full-game exclusive content were already present in the base game.

Unused Code

A .lua script file called "vs_route_town_menu_0.04.11.lua" can be found in the files of the beta. Since the mode referenced in the file name isn't accessible in the beta, this file goes unused.

A piece of code in script file "title_main_0.08.63.lua" suggests loading the Yo-kai Watch 4 intro (presumably because of the file name).

Unused Models

Unused Character Models

Hmmm...
To do:
If the models DO get updated in a possible later demo version or the final game, include the earlier ones here.

Every single character from previous Inazuma Eleven games has their original model present in the game files, likely to facilitate the training and porting of these models into higher quality versions using AI technology[1].

In the game files, there exists an unused model for possibly Zanark Avalonic. However, he is present as a playable character in the demo

There is also Wonderbot's body with a ribbon attached and a button in its chest.

Some unused remastered models include:

Unused clothing

Hmmm...
To do:
Has the South Cirrus tracksuit model been changed prior to v1.1.4? If not, remove it from the page.

Unused characters

In Update v1.1, characters from South Cirrus were added, surprisingly, Raika Shinohara and Kameo Kodokai are the only characters who don't have translated names.

(In Version 1.1.4, it was confirmed that Raika's overseas name would be the same as her Japanese one.) (On September 24th 2024, it was confirmed that Kameo Kodokai's overseas name would be Cade Shelby.)

Strangely, their spirits don't appear in the Team Editor when obtained. Their names, nicknames, faceplates and descriptions aren't yet localized and they return a empty string "", however, when playing in Japanese, their names DO appear.

Yo-kai Watch Leftovers

Hmmm...
To do:
Is there any text in the medal_text.cfg.bin file?

In the game files, there's a file called activate_momo_travel.cfg.bin, including the name of the Yo-kai Gakuen Y character. There is no text contained in this file despite being in the "text" folder of the game.

There is also a file called "medal_text.cfg.bin", which may originate from Yo-kai Gakuen Y, Yo-kai Watch 4 or from Yo-kai Watch 1 for Nintendo Switch.

The English, Spanish, German, Italian, French text folders share the aforementioned "medal_text.cfg.bin" file, and "event", "map" and "purpose" folders.

Some translations seem to be made with Google Translator[3], and some phrases have weird translations.

Translation Errors

"s004_npc_text.cfg.bin":

English Spanish Intended Meaning (English) Intended Meaning (Spanish) Literal Meaning (Spanish)

Spanish Translation Errors

Some errors/misinterpretations can be found in the Spanish translation, these include:

English Spanish Meaning (Spanish) Intended Meaning (Spanish)
Continue Continúo I continue Continuar
Buff icons Exhibición icónica de buffs Iconic Exhibition of Buffs ???

French Translation Errors

There are also some inconsistency and spelling errors in the French translation of the game. Examples include:

  • A misspelling error in the word "imaginaires", where is misspelled "omaginaires".[4][5]
  • The game generally calling Team Passives "Passifs de l'équipe" except when a new one is unlocked: "Passants d'équipe".[6]
  • The game "publishing" ("publiés") new Team Passives instead of unlocking them ("révéler" or "débloqué").

Unused Development Material

The file "app_config_0.07_55.99.cfg.bin" includes some strings, probably for plugins, and platforms. These include:

RT_Live2D
RT_Live2D_RT
PS4
PS5
DX11
MOB
NX
CAMERA_CTRL_SHECK
  • Live2D was used for the charcter potrait models in Waiwai Gakuen Seikatsu.
