General Differences

  • A majority of the opening splash screens display the build date.

RugratsSH Nickelodeon Proto.png RugratsSH Nickelodeon Final.png
  • The Nickelodeon splash screen contains legal info, notably including a placeholder "[year]" instead of an actual year (such as, say, 1999).

RugratsSH Title Proto.png Rugrats Scavenger Hunt N64-title.png
  • The title screen is the show's logo instead of the final game's unique illustration.
  • There is no music during the opening cutscene.
  • The music on the main menu is what later became the opening cutscene music.

RugratsSH Menu Proto.png RugratsSH Menu Final.png
  • There is a Load option on the main menu. Selecting it crashes the game.
  • The opening cutscene to Pirate Treasure Hunt is very unfinished, with no voice acting and missing animations.
