Falling/Game Over

IIRC this isn't possible normally in the game (to fall off the maps). But using various glitches you can do that and you'll get a Game Over, predictably. Is this worthy of "unused"? WhoIAm (talk) 20:47, 22 May 2014 (EDT)

Short answer: Not sure. Far as I can remember, there weren't any bottomless pits in this game to compare that to, there was always something there to hurt you. Getting a Game Over from merely missing a jump would seem hardly appropriate, though (despite the constant unnecessary saving, wark wark), so it could simply be a respawn-absence-preventative measure added to out-of-bounds nothingness. --AquaBat (talk) 23:03, 22 May 2014 (EDT)
Are you sure the quicksand gameover isn't activated by this? --Hiccup (talk) 10:44, 23 May 2014 (EDT)
Obviously the "completely drain health" part is the same, but not the activation itself. I still don't know how to judge this. --AquaBat (talk) 15:09, 23 May 2014 (EDT)

Kersti

Oh, and there's also keeping Kersti after the final battle. What about that? WhoIAm (talk) 20:48, 22 May 2014 (EDT)

If you check the todo, you'll see that I made a note of it (shoehorned Sandal in there too just for being the only other sticker not seen outside of battle). --AquaBat (talk) 23:03, 22 May 2014 (EDT)
Apparently the description is the same outside of battle, so until we can hack the game to add her outside of the final area and sell her, there's nothing noteworthy to mention, as fighting Bowser without using her sticker is just exploiting a hard-mode oversight. --AquaBat (talk) 15:01, 23 May 2014 (EDT)

Unused Music

I have some questions (more will be added over time):

Can't load those soundfiles right now, but that first video is clearly just a recording of one of the E3 trailers. You can even hear the Wigglers. --AquaBat (talk) 09:13, 2 July 2014 (EDT)
Yeah, but the funny thing is it seems to last way longer than the trailer does. --Hiccup (talk) 13:32, 2 July 2014 (EDT)
Apparently, Nintendo World Report recorded the whole thing. --Hiccup (talk) 13:53, 6 July 2014 (EDT)

Description

Instead of starting an edit war, let's talk about this here: My edit to the description was reverted for "changing humor". If anything, I was adding humor to the description. The original/current description is, paraphrased, "Sticker Star is not a good game compared to the other Paper Mario games. Miyamoto changed it because fans didn't like Super Paper Mario". It reads more like a placeholder than anything. I don't see why it had to be reverted personally. N. Onymous (talk) 16:17, 22 August 2015 (EDT)

Changing/adding. Check out the rules on humour. -Ehm (talk) 16:30, 22 August 2015 (EDT)

Article Intro needs to be changed.

Seriously, it is just whining. There is no intro. There is only whining. The history says "don't edit articles to change humor". This is not humor. It is whining. We need an intro. Not whining.

Understood?

This sounds a lot like whining. -Einstein95 (talk) 11:14, 28 August 2015 (EDT)
(facepalm) Okay, listen, in an article intro, you need to describe the game, not a random opinion. --Fastpager200 sprite.png Fastpager200 Thy Awesomesauce 11:25, 28 August 2015 (EDT)
I don't think you're in any position to argue with an admin on what should or shouldn't be. The Help page specifically states "we're not Wikipedia". It doesn't have to be some sort of formal affair. If you want to edit the intro of every page to a perfect description of the game, good luck changing 5,000+ articles. Some of them don't even have the game's title in it. There is nothing wrong with the intro that I and a few others made up. --AquaBat (talk) 13:03, 28 August 2015 (EDT)
Okay, I'm changing the intro to something a bit more informative. If I start an edit war, then God help us all. --Fastpager200 sprite.png Fastpager200 Thy Awesomesauce 11:54, 28 August 2015 (EDT)
If you don't want to start an edit war, why are you insistent on changing it after it's already been reverted? --AquaBat (talk) 13:03, 28 August 2015 (EDT)
Listen, the article intro is a review of the game and not an intro. How about we actually describe the game, rather than give a review? --Fastpager200 sprite.png Fastpager200 Thy Awesomesauce 11:54, 28 August 2015 (EDT)

Unused Lakitu Sprites

It seems Lakitu also has unused sprites for being hurt and affected by status effects despite never being able to fight him as he is too high to reach. http://www.spriters-resource.com/3ds/papermariostickerstar/sheet/63042/ --The Quirky Quark (talk) 00:17, 6 September 2015 (EDT)
