Audio Files

Hi there, could you make sure that all audio files uploaded to the wiki are in OGG format as per the guidelines? Thanks. -Einstein95 (talk) 20:03, 3 February 2014 (EST)

I plan to, once I can get Winamp to convert the stream properly. foobar2000 doesn't seem to convert to a decent quality. --Team Fail (talk) 20:06, 3 February 2014 (EST)

New Leaf Dump?

Do you have Animal Crossing: New Leaf? I wanna see what kind of files it uses, and you're the only one who seems to be able to dump 3DS files. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lemurboy12 (talk • contribs)

He has said that the fcram dumps he has been working with have been given to him, not dumped by him. -Einstein95 (talk) 15:51, 11 February 2014 (EST)
Yeah, I don't have the proper 3DS to dump it, hence why I left a link in the program I have to send a donation. I don't expect to get anything from it, but it doesn't hurt to try! --Team Fail (talk) 22:59, 11 February 2014 (EST)

XY unused tracks

You made a disclaimer that you won't release the audio files, but technically, since you uploaded the tracks, you've already released them, and people can download them at their leisure...Am I missing something here? --AquaBat (talk) 21:58, 19 May 2014 (EDT)

I was referring to the whole entire sound directory, perhaps I should make that clear. --Team Fail (talk) 22:01, 19 May 2014 (EDT)
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up. --AquaBat (talk) 22:24, 19 May 2014 (EDT)

New discussion under the same topic: ProjectPokemon found this. Have no idea where it came from, but they found it. --AquaBat (talk) 21:40, 25 May 2014 (EDT)

They had it before I got it. I think it's used, but the way one accesses it is so incredibly slim (You'd have to be playing the in the actual WCS championships), should it count as "unused"? --Team Fail (talk) 23:02, 25 May 2014 (EDT)
Hmm, the track shouldn't just play while battling at the championships, that sounds nonsensical. However, the Live Competition option on the main menu allows you to participate in live competitions, including VGCs, while under the competition's rules and restrictions. I obviously don't have a ticket to the 2014 VGCs, so I can't judge whether or not the song is used by the game itself during battle. The Pokemon Company International will upload videos of the battles after the competition, but even then they could be adding their own BGM to the video. The name itself raises questions, too - it makes it sound like you're battling someone already deemed World Champion, and they don't usually formally invite the former champ to battle unless he entered the competition himself. Perhaps this music is involved in an as-of-yet unreleased Battle Institute download? They've done that in the past - take the VGC semifinalists', finalists', and winner's teams and make them available for download as a Battle Test. --AquaBat (talk) 00:41, 26 May 2014 (EDT)
That's entirely possible. Perhaps I'll wait for a release in that department, then I'll take a peek and see if they utilise that audio track. --Team Fail (talk) 01:05, 26 May 2014 (EDT)

Unused N-Tranced Music

At risk of sounding horribly uninformed, what sorts of programmes allow you to rip music out of GBA games? I'm intending to look through XS/Huge Adventure myself and have a look see, but didn't know where to start, as the best I've managed so far is finding the names of the themes used in the coding. I apologize if I'm being a burden, but it'd be really helpful to know. Thank you! Crashandcortex (talk) 03:40, 10 July 2014 (EDT)

Normally, one would use saptapper or something like that to rip music, however, since this game uses such a foreign sound engine, the sound rip that I used was actually done manually. I'm not sure how it's done myself, however, before I got hands on that manual rip, I actually hex edited the game to force the unused audio to load, to which I discovered it. It didn't sound correct at all, but it did confirm that there was unused audio for sure. --Team Fail (talk) 11:42, 10 July 2014 (EDT)

SM3DL fcram narc dump

Which version was this from? I can't find some of the files with E3 in the name in any EU or US version RomFS I have. --Hiccup (talk) 09:33, 25 November 2014 (EST)

US, I think. The dump was given to me. Perhaps was a new revision of the game released? I can't really be sure. --Team Fail (talk) 00:34, 26 November 2014 (EST)

Edit the unused pokemon back sprite

Can you edit the page of Diamond and Pearl and put the used sprites on the list of unused sprites compared to the final? https://tcrf.net/File:PKMNDP_ManaphyUsedBackSprite.png https://tcrf.net/File:PKMNDP_ShinyManaphyUsedBackSprite.png I'm worried I will mess up the list.--ThePokeDigiFan (talk) 00:28, 3 July 2015 (EDT)

3DS "SoundPlayer"

Hi. Did you use the 3DS SDK tl "SoundPlayer" to play the Super Mario 3D Land E3 demo sequences? If so, do you have a pre-built cci of the tool you could give me? I can probably just use Luma3DS to replace the bcsar in the RomFS on-the-fly. --Hiccup (talk) 13:24, 26 August 2017 (EDT) oo

Pokemon DP Unused graphics?

Hey, I'm somewhat new here. I found your page after I came up with nothing when searching through DP's NARC files myself, and I noticed you say you're working on trimming and uploading the images. I hope this doesn't come off as rude, but I'd love to help- If there's anything I could do? Lucabyte (talk) 20:02, 27 August 2017 (EDT)
