Hebereke is the title of a series of very bizarre games that were released throughout the 1990s by SUNSOFT.
Originally the title to a comic strip about a timid penguin named Hebe, Hebereke the video game series grew to be the "testing genre grounds" for Sunsoft and Hebe became the mascot for Sunsoft in Japan (the overseas equivalent would be David Stiller's Aero the Acro-Bat) before vanishing into obscurity for a couple of decades, by and large remembered only for some lovely chiptunes in the first game...
