Placeholder song selection entries for possibly a repeated "dummy" song, titled 歯痛いGIRL [Ha itai GIRL], literally meaning "Toothache Girl", and for the How To Play sequence can be found in GAME.DAT.

Unused Text

Starting in offset 0x54EE8 in GAME.DAT is a song listing of some sorts. This list seems to mention two unplayable songs, both of which later appeared in later titles.

Regional Differences

DM2-PF2title.png

drummania 2ndMIX was released in Asia under the title of PercussionFreaks 2ndMIX, which fully translates the game's UI and several song titles. A Korean version, which is based on this Asia release, contains a couple more differences compared to the original Japanese release. Regarding the game's songlist, only new differences will be entered in this section.

Songlist

  • The licensed songs Bambina, LOVE AFFAIR and Haru ~SPRING~ were changed to instrumental versions.

Background Animations

  • Several sprites of the background animations of the song HELPLESS, which feature a dancing woman, were changed to silhouettes. Curiously, this change was also done in the Japanese releases starting from drummania 3rdMIX.
