Mobile Suit Z-Gundam: Hot Scramble is the first Gundam game to be released for the Famicom.

Debug Mode

At the title screen, on controller 2, press A, Up + A, A + B, Up + B, B, Right + B, A + B, Right + A, Right + A, Left + A, A + B, Down + A + B, Down + B, a message saying "MONITOR ON" appears instead of the hi-scores, but only if the title screen is renewed after the demo sequence. From now on, there are some debug features made available. Instead of seeing the score, you can see one-byte memory viewer. While the game is paused, you can change addresses by pressing Up or Down on controller 1 or A or B buttons on controller 2. You can also press Select on controller 1 to advance the game by frame by frame.

Hidden Credit

A hidden credit is repeated multiple times in the ROM and is used for checking whether the player soft or hard reset.
