The fourth in Konami's beatmania series of rhythm games. With it, came a complete rework of the game's interface and songlist.

Unused Graphic

There are 24 graphics for song abbreviations meant to be displayed in the ranking screen, although only 23 songs are playable in this game.
The odd one out is for a song labeled "FC", and it is unknown what could it stand for.

At the beginning of the game's HDD data, the following string is found. This string is also found in the program ROMs, at offsets 0x1E812 in the Japanese version and 0x1E802 in the Korean one.

Codename

In the program ROMs, at offsets 0x1E7F1 in the Japanese version and 0x1E7E1 in the Korean version, is some sort of "codename" for the game:

BGM_KA YES -KEYS TO ASCENSION - 

Like the codenames found in the American and Korean releases of beatmania completeMIX, it refers to the British progressive rock band Yes, as well as their 1996 album Keys to Ascension.
